My career as a teacher

In the Normal there are always activities, in all semesters we have to show our creativity and perform from assemblies every month, to Christmas carols. We also organize to make "posadas" in elementary schools that are of limited resources, bring gifts to children and have fun. In May there is "A day at my teacher's school" where each group organizes and decorates a Normal classroom on some subject, two years ago our theme was superheroes and I dressed up as a wonder woman, it was amazing.

During these 3 years that I have lived in the Escuela Normal, the practice days have been the best. I still remember every activity that I have applied in the classrooms, I remember every thing I experienced in applying the activities, every challenge, every area of opportunity, strength and reaction of the students working with me. I always try to improve in each day and in each new group that touches me, because each child is different and therefore each group has different needs.

From the first semester I started the practice in primary schools, it was a very nice experience. Being with the students in the classroom, teaching them new things and at the same time learning from each of them.

Hello! I'm Jennifer, I'm twenty two years old and I'm studying at Escuela Normal Miguel F. Martínez there I'm studying to be a teacher, why I choose this career? Because I want to teach the new generations of children to be the change in the world, but first I want to change the education of my country and l want to be the teacher you always remember, the teacher who generated a great impact on your student life, the teacher who helped you to move on, the teacher that many times you hated because she gave you a lot of homework, but at the end you realize that all their methods served you to become the person you are todays.
